I'm a married Disabled 4th generation quilter with a love for details and color, watercolor painter, Pagan, tea lover, gamer, avid reader, and 20+ years experience making modern macrame jewelry.

You can find my work on Ko-fi. Several times a year, I open for commissions. My work is largely focused on making smaller things, like decorative pins and buttons, home decorations, all the way up to wheelchair quilts, but I absolutely love making bed-size quilts. Much if my work also serves as devotional pieces, like altar mats and wallhangings, but I absolutely love making home decorations. Bedsize quilts will become more frequent in 2025, once I get used to free-motion quilting on my new frame and machine. What's immediately available is listed in my shop, and it also includes original paintings.

On my website, there's an option to become a monthly supporter, referred to as "members." I send my members postcards every month, automatic discounts on shop and commission orders, automatic entries into giveaways (I have one after I reach a financial goal, regardless of the amount), and sometimes surprise them with gifts.

My disabilities are lengthy and prevent me from working a Real Job. The short version is basically I live my life at home. My husband is my caregiver, best friend, and biggest supporter. He's always happy to indulge me, and shows off my work with the pictures he keeps on his phone.

You won't find me on social media, but I'm very active on Tumblr. There, and on Ko-fi, I share WIP, plans and ideas, my goal, and tidbits of my life. I'm more active on tumblr though, and share patterns and tutorials I make or find, reblog the work of other makers, and interact with people.

Still here! I've been going to physical therapy for hEDS and my very messed up left arm. I have tendonitis from my hand to my shoulder, bones were in places they shouldn't be, ligament and tendons twisted around each other. Fun times! No sewing nor gaming, but I'm able to type and have been occupying myself with reading and writing fanfiction. Quilting will not resume until probably the end of February, but I have full range of motion for the first time in over a year in my left wrist. Yay!

45% off everything my shop until December 24th: https://ko-fi.com/chaosfay/link/YULETIDE2024 I have quilts of many different sizes as well as original artwork. Help me clear out my inventory and receive one-of-a-kind pieces to gift others or keep for yourself.

The Emmerich and Manfred pieces are now done! One pair, mini quilt and coaster, sold before I finished it. The other is now listed in my shop. These are such shiny metallic pieces!

I'm working on Emmerich and Manfred's pieces now. Finding a skull pattern that could account for Manfred's emerald-looking goggles was a challenge, but I found one. It's a sugar skull pattern! I made some necessary adjustments, but it's looking fantastic. WIP is on my blog and Ko-fi. There's already one person claiming the first, and I've only finished the top. They've requested a matching coaster, and it'll look like one of his eyes. The mini-quilt will finish around 12x12 inches, give or take to account for shrinking in the wash. I'll begin the coaster today, then quilt both of these, and attach the binding. If I have the energy, I'll start on the second set.

This is one of my two interpretations of Dragon Age The Veilguard character Lucanis Dellamorte. He's an assassin and member of the Antivan Crows, and his attire is black and purple, with a little touch of blue. He's been described by game developers as being romantic, hence the floral print used for the border in the purple-on-black version. These measure at 16.5x16.5 inches for the black-on-purple version, and 17.5x18 inches for the purple on black version. The larger one also has a hanging sleeve on the back, and a different style of binding that makes it look invisible rather than work as a frame. To reduce the cost for the other, I opted not to add a sleeve.

The fabrics are all 100% cotton, but the textures are vastly different. The shiny quality of the black has a rather disconcerting and unpleasant texture, which is why it's best for display pieces. It's also unsuitable for high heat, like a hot cup of tea. The sparkly purple is a little too rough for my personal taste, but what makes it sparkle is what makes it a fantastic decorative material.

I'll be working on Emmerich and Manfred's pieces next. Green/gold/off-white and a sugar skull pattern to create the look of Manfred's goggles.

We're $640 away from paying off the water heater debt, which was originally $3k. WOOT!!! I'm hoping the two Dragon Age fanart pieces I made will sell quickly, seeing as they'll cover most of the remaining amount combined. No pics of the finished pieces, yet, because they need to be washed first. One has a hanging sleeve on the back, the other does not, and both are black and purple with a big crow in the center. They represent the character Lucanis Dellamorte. He wears mostly purple and black, and he's an Antivan Crow. You can see WIP on both my art blog and Ko-fi though! They'll both be washed today, and pics probably posted tomorrow.

Next on the list: Emmerich, a necromancer primarily in green and off-white. He'll have skulls for his pieces.
