Final Class For Fun Options - DECIDED!

EDIT: I was FINALLY able to make a decision! I went with ARTS 574 - Interactive Game Design! If y'all still wanna leave your opinions, please feel free to do so!

Hey y'all! Next spring will be my final semester of my grad school program! Woot! Sadly, I only have two classes left, so I wanted to add in a third just for fun, but I'm not sure which to go with... The problem with being a "Jack of all trades" is that I'm so indecisive about what trade I want add to my arsenal next! ;~;

ARTS 574 Interactive Game Design 3 Credit Hour(s)  

Students will explore and pursue areas of interest through research related to interactive game development in regards to theoretical framework, building aesthetics, environments, and game engines with implementation of process and execution of interactive games in an appropriate platform. May be taken twice.

ARTS 578 Interactive Design 3 Credit Hour(s)  

Students will pursue areas of interest through research related to interactive design and apply advanced visual theories to construct design systems in an interactive user centered environment. Advanced understanding and theory of interactive technology and application in contextual frameworks in relation to the user are explored and developed. May be taken twice.

ARTS 580 Interactive Publication 3 Credit Hour(s)  

This graduate course stresses individual direction and achievement in interactive and digital publication design. Students will research the vital role of visual communication and will examine the processes involved in creating and coordinating images and typography through both verbal and visual content across multiple and emerging media. Through readings, research, and assignments, students will explore the role of the designer in visual storytelling and will develop a body of work that attempts to influence and shape culture. At this advanced level the student is expected to be self-motivated and produce work that is deeper conceptually and is at a much higher aesthetic level than undergraduates. May be taken twice.

This class guides students toward the creation of dynamic stories and complex characters through the exploration of their own personal life journeys. Understanding that each student has a unique milieu of convictions, emotional life experiences, and passions, this class helps them translate these gems into riveting story ideas. The craft, structure, and fundamentals of dramatic writing will be explored while engaging the writing process from the artist’s intimate perspective. Utilizing the wisdom of sages like Aristotle and Lajos Egri, students will engage in writing exercises that thrust them into the journey of story creation, theme conception, and character development.

CINE 610 Platforms of Visual Storytelling 3 Credit Hour(s)  

Visual storytelling has transcended the movie theatre to handheld media devices. This course lays the foundation for "visual thinking" across various platforms of visual storytelling and begins the exploration of cinematic elements and scripting as they are currently defined in film, television, webisodes, animation, interactive media, and gaming.
