Howdy y'all! I can't remember if I shared this with y'all or not, but here it is anyways: I reorganized my Itch.io page! I decided to group together my projects into three main categories: Game Projects; Books, Zines, and More, and Art Projects! I also have my new game series, Kalli's Simple Games, in its own category to highlight it! (Yes, I do still have plans to make more entries, but shit's been kinda crazy ;~;)

Hey y'all! I've been MIA because Grad School has been kicking my ass in terms of the workload. I have papers due every week, and, on top of all that, I think I've recently fell into a bit of a rut, so my motivation is absolutely abysmal compared to what it is supposed to be.
(Fun Fact: As I'm writing this, I'm at work and also trying to take care of this week's paper for one of my classes...)
I have gotten SOME stuff made since my last post; mainly, I've been making zines in the more traditional 8-page single-paper format. They're all up on my Itch.io page (https://kallis-creation-station.itch.io/).
Also, I will be at the Houston Zine Fest tomorrow, November 16th! The event goes from 12p to 5p CST. My festival "brand" is Kalli's Wagon of Art, so look for that if you're in the area!
Anyways, I should maybe get to writing this paper...
Tootles~! \(^w^)/

Hey y'all!
So, earlier this year, I had made a post asking people about how they hosted their own online stores and why they chose what they did. Thank you so much to everyone who posted! Now... I may have an idea that's a little too stupid, even by my standards, but I wanted to hear what y'all had to say.
Amongst all the other things I'm working on at the moment, one of the things I'm working on getting made before my 2024 Festival Run is a catalogue to give out to passing attendees so they can browse my items on the go, and even place an order after the fact. This catalogue is going to be a festival-exclusive item, with there being a mail-in form at the back.
Here's where it gets stupid real fast.
Do I have my "online store" just be a digital equivalent of a catalogue with a form that they would fill out and mail in? Maybe with Venmo/CashApp/PayPal/etc buttons for people to pay ahead of time...? Or maybe they just fill out the order form and payment form?
It would solve the problem of hosting a store and dealing with these store hosting services charging processing fees... but there's that one part of my brain that's just going "this is the stupidest idea you've ever had, Kalli."
If you're wonder why the [REDACTED] I would even think of doing it that way, I just think it'd be neat? A little inconvenience to remind everyone that convenience has maybe begun to rot our minds in one way or another? I dunno... I think it'd be fun?
Hey y'all! Kalli here! Just wanted to give a quick update to say that two projects I've been gnawing away at in the background have finally released!
Kalli's Simple Games - Volume 1 - Teardrop Canyon
The Palette Zine - Volume 1 - Issue 7
You can get them both here: https://kallis-wagon-of-art.itch.io/
Just a quick little update to let everyone know that work on my new products (Let's Zine #1, Mini Q Catalogue Volume 2, Heart of the Cards) has all come to a halt at the moment because I'm now having to get used to a new work and grad school schedule that I had to change last minute (thanks a lot, HR). This isn't great because I really want to have new product ready for when my festival season starts up again in October...
So far, grad school stuff hasn't been hard, just tedious, but this is also just my first class.
I am on a high-dose Vitamin D Rx because my levels are still dangerously low, and I finally got on estrogen, but I haven't seen an increase in mood or energy, yet.
I also still have not had the ability to move out, so living with my parents provides an extra level of stress and pain.
Overall, on the Kalli Stress Scale, I'm at like a 9, which is a 19 for Normal People(TM), so that should give you an idea as to where I'm at, mentally.
